Who We Are

We are a DII women's rugby team in the PNRFU located in Bend, OR. We are a crazy, lovely, tough group of women that love playing rugby. We have ages from 18-50 and people from all walks of life coming together to play this great sport. 

We welcome any and all interested players to come out and play with us. No experience necessary, we will help you learn all the ropes. We go on road trips, sing songs, play rugby, make lifelong friends and drink beer (or mocktails!). What is not to love?!

Our History

The Bend Lady Roughriders are a part of Bend Rugby that includes the men's team as well as the high school All Blues. We have had a women's side since 2007, back when we started with three players. We had over 25 players before the pandemic and are looking to re-build our numbers again! Rugby is gaining popularity in the US and we encourage anyone and everyone to come out and give it a shot!

Rugby is a game of commitment TEAMWORK and love. Scrums are tough and POWERFUL. Lineouts make trust and friendships come TOGETHER. There's constant SUPPORT wherever you are from your team. And when that one person scores that try the whole team takes the GLORY.
